We’re Flourish Marketing and Business Development—a local Steinbach, Manitoba based business that wants to change the way you think about marketing.
With years of experience in selling online, both for their own businesses and for others, owners Abbi and Daniel Fehr saw the issues facing small business owners. Marketing agencies are costly, and very often do not provide the results that small businesses are looking for. But, when you’re a small business, you don’t have the time to do it yourself, so what choice do you have? If you don’t want to work with an agency, you have limited options. You could just hire someone from a freelancing website, but then you have to give direction and monitor every step of the process, which is time-consuming and expensive. Or, you can just press pause on your marketing and business development plans, and just continue on as you are now. That’s what many people choose.
Flourish aims to be different, and to offer a better choice. Instead of paying a marketing agency to launch and manage your online presence, and paying expensive hourly minimums every time you want something changed, we give you something different: the power to control your own online assets.
We help businesses with the foundation for success—whether that’s by building a beautiful website, launching an e-commerce shop through Shopify, Etsy or Amazon, or assisting with brand building—and then teach them how to manage in-house with detailed guides, training, and hands-on support. Instead of having to go through an agency when you want to change a paragraph on your website, you can go in and change it on your own, following our simple how-to guide.
What sets us apart is the fact that we’re not just marketers—we’re also small e-commerce business owners.
All of the services we offer, are skills that we use for our own business daily. We’re uniquely positioned to provide insight, advice, training and trouble-shooting. We’ve built our own brands (and others) from the ground up, and made it through years of trial and error to get to the place we are now, helping others build their brand in an easier way than we did.
We’re a small team (just two people) and take on only one or two clients at a time to ensure that your project receives the time and attention it needs. Based in Steinbach, Manitoba, we work with clients both locally and across North America.

Abbigail Fehr
Founder

Abbi has loved art and the written word since she was a child. What started as a penchant for writing elaborate fantasy stories has grown into a drive to write compelling, human content that inspires and converts.
At the age of 16, Abbi self-published her first novel, and began selling it online. After graduating highschool, Abbi took a year off before attending college—deciding that she wanted to pursue a career in writing. A graduate from Red River Polytechnic’s Creative Communications Program, Abbi majored in Advertising and Marketing Communications when she realized that her real passion was for sharing stories in every form. In order to pay her way through school, she sold her artwork online and worked whatever hours she could to earn money, including a summer work placement as a marketing student. She’s worked in the marketing and communications sphere ever since, with experience in agriculture, manufacturing, and non-for-profit companies. From marketing online and in person, to designing product packaging and helping with R&D in large companies, her experience is varied and hands-on. While she worked full-time, Abbi also grew her art business and found her niche selling on social media, primarily into the USA. She’s shipped her art across the world, and continues to run her business to this day. Her friendships with many other small vendors and creators highlighted to her just how little support there is out there for small creators, and how hard it is for them to find the resources they need. This inspired her to start Flourish Concepts with her husband, Daniel.
Daniel Fehr

Daniel has always enjoyed finding new opportunities and ideas. As a child, he had a desire to explore new things, fuelled by a curiosity about the world around him. This desire to innovate and learn has led Daniel to owning his own businesses, and helping others build theirs up. His goal is to establish procedures and streamline as many aspects of business as he can.
Daniel founded his first business when he was 19, working gruelling days in the landscaping and horticulture industry. In the quieter winter months, he began to explore the world of e-commerce. This led to him developing and launching his own line of products in 2016. He listed these products on Amazon, Shopify, Etsy and Google Shopping, and spent time learning how to optimize every aspect of his business that he could—from logistics and shipping, to marketing and advertising. While working on his e-commerce business, he also worked full-time managing large teams in a corporate setting. Daniel hired dozens of employees, and established business programs to help the company grow. This experience reinforced his desire to help other small businesses succeed, and brought him to starting Flourish Concepts with his wife, Abbigail.
